Working in close alignment, our risk engineer Jurjen Burghgraef (JB Risicobeheer) conducted a comprehensive risk analysis. By zooming in on Thialf’s specific sustainability demands, we collaborated with underwriters and technical specialists to map out exactly how the stadium could achieve insurable status through targeted, pragmatic adjustments. By systematically addressing every technical, organisational, and insurance-related requirement, the solar installations successfully achieved Scope 12 certification and were safely brought back into service.

Building on this success, we advised Thialf on deploying a safe and insurable battery storage system. Every protocol, preventative measure, and installation choice was meticulously aligned with the actual risk profile and market requirements.
