What will you do?
At Barbon Insurance Brokers, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in the claims process. As a claims handler, you are the primary point of contact for our clients and insurers. You handle a variety of claims, including motor vehicles, work equipment, pleasure crafts, transport, logistical liability and events. You work in accordance with clear agreements and guidelines so that everything runs smoothly and transparently. From the moment a claim comes in, you take the lead: you assess coverage and liability, take purposeful steps for a swift and correct settlement, and safeguard the interests of both the client and the insurer. In addition, you ensure complete file compilation, monitor progress and keep the administration in order. You have daily contact with clients, lawyers, loss adjusters and insurers, and coordinate smoothly between all parties.
What makes you successful?
You hold the necessary Wft diplomas.
Excellent command of the Dutch language and proficient in Office software such as Outlook, SharePoint, Word and Excel.
Proactive and strong communication skills: you are a go-getter and can communicate clearly, both internally and externally.
You feel at home in an environment with a lot of personal responsibility and room for initiative.
You know how to maintain an overview, are stress-resistant and switch easily between different tasks and interests.
You are familiar with OVS (Dutch claims agreement) and claims recovery.
Experience with ANVA and E-abs is a plus.
MBO/HBO (vocational/applied sciences) education level.
>5 years of experience in claims handling.
